We are seeking an Inside Sales professional to join our team! You will resolve customer questions, book showroom appointments, and offer solutions to drive company revenue. This position has total responsibility to execute and fulfill customer service functions including but not limited to assisting walk-in new clients, call-ins and existing clients, along with supporting the Integrated Companies with the development of new customer accounts. You will be responsible for providing excellent service, assisting clients with product knowledge and selection within the Work/Life Center, accepting and processing client's orders, assisting with delivery arrangements, supporting sales meetings and demos. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Follow up, qualify, and nurture inbound leads generated through marketing and business development.
  • Respond to inquiries received via Scott Rice and Steelcase website. Provide any quotes needed or coordinate additional sales support with VP of Sales.
  • Manage leads from inbound calls, emails, and walk-in business.
  • Maintain a database of new potential clients' data and existing clients' data within CRM.
  • Assist in setting up demos for sales team- coordination with sales reps and internal warehouse. Coordinate return when presentation is complete.
  • Welcome clients, request required information from them, tour them around- demonstrate and educate on products to ensure a quality client experience.
  • Support design team with library sample ordering to keep finish memos updated.
  • InDeal + Onyx Champion: promote internally, track volume, rebate + SPIFF's.
  • Update MyResourceLibrary database for pricing, discounting, contracts, etc. Assist sales with MRL specific selling tools.
  • In collaboration with the bid team, support competitive bid/ RFP process through alternative specification + packaging, create cutsheets and compile presentation.
  • Manufacturer updates, meetings + trainings: screen for value, schedule and encourage participation internally. Send out updates when deemed valuable.
  • Call clients after completion of service to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Continually learn more about the products and services you sell.

Experience Desired:

  • Minimum of one year of B2B sales experience desired.
  • Associate's Degree is required for this position, either in Customer Service, Business, Design or Sales & Marketing. A combination of college level courses and industry experience may be substituted for the degree.
  • Verifiable experience Microsoft Office software is highly desired.
  • Able to clearly speak, read, and write the English language, required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Able to handle more than one responsibility at a time.
  • Demonstrate good judgment in investigating facts and solving problems with applicable customer situations.
  • Ability to follow a structured sales process and apply best practice methodologies.

Advanced presentation skills, outgoing personality, enjoy social settings and meeting new people.
