Project Manager/Estimator
JOB SUMMARY:
CIC is currently looking for a Project Manager/Estimator to add to our team. Ideally this candidate would have Project Management and Estimating experience within the construction field. Estimating or Construction Management education background is preferred.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Estimating & Take Off:
Responsible for estimating and takeoffs
Create Phasing Plan, if necessary
Review all Specifications of the project in full including all Divisions
Create Proposals:
Create all proposals
Submit Proposal to Customer/Prospective Bidders
Order Entry:
Create an electronic job folder
Create job in accounting software
Submittals:
Order samples per requirements by others & download product data
Create transmittal and send to customer for review and approval by others
Ordering Materials:
Create and send purchase orders
Project Management:
Track all material shipments
Communicate with Warehouse manager on delivery of material
Coordinate installation with Install Manager
Pre-installation meetings
Weekly job-site visits for larger or phased jobs
Manage any extra work field tickets
Manage change orders
Order & Documentation of moisture tests
Manage our Subcontractors
Lead weekly internal job meetings
Updating job status & production weekly
Manage relationship with GC, PM and Superintendent
Track job costing in accounting software
Communicate with Installation Manager & Salesperson on project from start to finish on project
Manage punch list and closeouts including attic stock
Forecasting
Projected install schedule
Manage job errors
Billing:
Assist with Accounting on Schedule of Values, Draws and monthly invoicing
Change Orders
Close Job:
Review Job GP in weekly Job Meeting, provide backup information
