JOB SUMMARY:

The project integration role will execute successful delivery strategies on new project opportunities within Scott Rice's Manhattan team. You will work directly with business development, sales, design, project management, along with the Integrated Companies to help a project from a prospect through installation and after care maintenance. You will be a part of a two-person team in the Scott Rice Manhattan office, which will require lot of flexibility in day to day job duties.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Project Management

  • Work with team comprised of members of the Sales, Design, Project Management and Operations divisions to successfully manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Assist in front end documentation for project opportunities: field verification, CAD development, photo documentation, existing inventory, user surveys, observation, initial space concepts, test fits. Relay this information to sales and design team.
  • Assist in successful delivery of project opportunities including space planning, phasing, budgeting, scope definition and project schedule.
  • Go to job sites during installations to assist with receiving of deliveries and any questions that the installation team or client might have during the process.
  • Participate in OAC meetings when projects require.
  • Identify and engage integrated company in opportunities when applicable.
  • Provide technical consultation to customers, vendors, design community and contractors.
  • Qualify need, budget and time constraints; Provide outstanding service and value through collaborative problem-solving and timely response to client requests.
  • Maintain Manhattan Showroom inventory. Requires interfacing with Scott Rice warehouse about any changes that have been made and doing an inventory count at the end of the year.

Sales/Customer Service

  • Be able to use Hedberg system to create quotes, check on orders, service items and other information contained within the system.
  • Help with walk ins if necessary.

Marketing

  • Assist with marketing; including bid responses, client presentations and other general documents.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or Construction Management.
  • Experience: Preferred, but not required.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong problem-solving skills including demonstrated ability to analyze issues and develop implement and document processes that improve the accuracy and timing of projects and business activities.
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong organization, time management, and oral/written communication skills.
  • High level of experience around tasking, critical dates, client & third-party relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a hands-on, collaborative team environment while taking ownership of processes and improving them.
  • Attention to detail and quality in work products and proficient in core application software including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite software products.
  • Ability to travel as needed.  (10-20% travel is expected.)
